Inclusion & Diversity

Inclusion and diversity are embedded values in our workplace. What diversity means to us is having staff from a wide range of nationalities, abilities and cultures all contributing to the culture of our organisation. These contributions serve to heighten the innovative ideas, creativity and practices of our workplace.

When employees feel involved, respected and connected, our team can tap into a greater richness of ideas and problem-solving approaches. This also helps us to respond effectively to our partners and clients, attract and retain high performing employees without barriers, empower teams to collaborate, raise productivity and, ultimately, deliver sustainable growth.

We have recently been recognised in our industry as being the leaders in Inclusion and Diversity through an award from the Landscape Institute of Western Australia.

Nathan Phillips is the Company Managing Director. He has had many years working in Indigenous communities throughout Western Australia, providing outcome based skills training as well as employment in landscape and infrastructure projects in 11 different community locations. During this time Nathan learnt valuable skills in the interface between Indigenous based organisations and Government departments, as well as the complexities that Aboriginal people face when dealing with employment and training.

As part of our commitment we are working toward closing the gap on indigenous employment with our target being 8% of our total workforce by 2020.

Seeding innovation, growing people, creating landscapes and maintaining connections.
