The decision to move our paper shredding requirements to local company “Brandon’s Shredding Boxes” was an easy one because it met so many things that are important to us here at Landscape Elements.
Brandon’s Shredding Boxes are a local business started by the parents of Brandon who has Austism. Brandon and his crew (who also have special needs) really love what they do, and along with offering a fantastic service of collecting and shredding all your business’s confidential paper they also offer so much to the community. For example;
- They donate the shredded paper to various community gardens who use it for mulch.
- They utilise their creative skills and make their own paper-mache creations that they then sell in Perth and surrounding markets (this is also part of their occupational therapy).
- They support the special needs community.
All of this is done while still maintaining the high standards of a professionally run business and ensuring confidentially of all paper provided to them (along with extremely competitive rates).
To Landscape Elements it is important to support local business, be environmentally proactive and give back to the community, therefore it was an easy decision for us to move our business to Brandon’s Shredding Boxes and help them grow so they can continue their great work and help others like Brandon to feel productive.
