Kennerton Park at Salita required the construction of a brand new POS alongside the redevelopment of an existing POS that together created a substantive park, whilst bordering existing conservation.
The new POS sits proudly on the side of a hill which utilises a new BMX limestone track as well as concrete paths and exposed aggregate surfaces, with bench and seating areas throughout the space, amidst grand limestone retaining walls and steps. The new custom shelter shows off a fantastic interactive roof, as when viewing from below, it displays the topography of the surrounding area. The immediate area encompasses the outdoor BBQ, picnic settings and bike racks, providing an overall space that is sure to be a crowd pleaser, as well as over-looking the exciting playground that kids are sure to love.
The new POS as a whole is dressed with vibrant soft landscaping throughout that will be sure to impress leading south into the existing upgraded POS which shows off some new turf, stone pitching and concrete paths.
