The Wedge

This project involved a public open space for a new housing area on Churchill Avenue, backing The Kings College School complex. Works also included a circular playground with limestone walls, sand and play rubber, complete with a combination unit, swing, and nature play items for climbing and balancing. A seating area with shelter and BBQ overlooks the playground and the large expanse of new turf and trees for the local children to enjoy. There is a large drainage basin in one corner of the park area and a conservation fence was installed to protect the wetland revegetation area, with openings at both ends so the public can walk around the entire park.
